Peter and Irene's dream of owning their own property was realized when the opportunity to purchase Hillview Haven came up - they needed no encouragement. Hillview is a haven for nature lovers and sportsmen alike, the "Guest House" is situated on forty acres in the rolling hills of Northumberland County, with panoramic views of beautiful Rice Lake. The 6,000 square foot home was custom built with seven bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, and a covered wrap-around verandah that makes for an ideal location to observe birds and wildlife. It also boasts a 300 yard golf driving range, and easy access to Rice Lake, known for some of the best fishing in Ontario. The nearby Northumberland Forest has many hiking, cross country skiing, and snowmobile trails, along with hunting and horseback riding. In December 2011 Peter and Irene became owners of what is now Hillview Haven Estate Guest House.
